Start: 9.15 a.m. parking area across the street to Restaurant Sonnengartl in Ramsau
Ascent with the stagecoach on the Zillertaler Höhenstraße to the snack station Melchboden at 2000 m. Here we start our panoramic summit tour over the Arbiskopf 2133 m, Rauhenkopf 2268 m, Mitterwandskopf 2280 m and further to the highest point of our tour the Kreuzjoch on 2336 m. There we enjoy our summit rest with a magnificent panoramic view. Descent is via the Rastkogelhütte back to the starting point Melchboden, where we have the opportunity to eat a good Kaiserschmarren.
Total walking time: approx 5 h with 400 hm ascent and descent. Surefootedness required.
