Start: 9.20 a.m. | Parking lot at the forest cemetery (Waldfriedhof) in Mayrhofen

We start our hike from there to the Steinerkogl Gasthaus at 1,270 metres. The somewhat steeper ascent of 650 metres, past the Brandberg chapel to the Steinerkogl, takes approx. 2.5 hours (depending on the breaks). After a cosy break at the Steinerkogl Gasthaus, we hike on towards Brandberg and back to the starting point in Mayrhofen.

Total walking time: approx. 4,5 h (depending on breaks) with approx. 650 hm ascent and descent.
